It’s been a busy winter for us at Windmill Inn; we’ve had several family issues to deal with as well trying to stay ahead of winter. For those of you who live in a cold climate you know what I’m talking about.

Spring is trying to creep in, last week we had some warm spring days with fishermen trying their luck on the river, folks busting out the shorts and flip-flops, and we’ve seen Blue Birds and Robbins returning to Cody Country. Although these are signs spring is around the corner, the past few days have been very wintery, complete with snow, temperature in the teens, and a fire burning all day.

With spring officially only a few days away, Yellowstone Country is getting ready for the busy summer season. Here in Cody, lots of businesses looking for summer help, city crews sprucing up the downtown, and the tourism industry is buzzing with anticipation of our upcoming summer season.

We’ve got lots going on at Windmill Inn, we’ve installed Suzie’s windmill as you come up the driveway, new trees and landscaping, and will hopefully we’ll be installing a new deck and patio this year. Suzie has been busy redecorating the rooms, which I know our guests will be commenting on this summer season.  Our bookings are already way ahead of last season, so please book quickly before we are full, and please follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/windmillinnwyoming/ and give us a ‘like’ or shoot us a friend request.

We look forward to seeing you this year at Windmill Inn.
